Blazes Renewables were asked to recommend new LED lighting in the Bar area and their new Function Room. The recommendation for the Bar area was to install Fire Resistant 9 Watt LED down lighters in the Bar canopy. These were connected to a dimmer switch to allow different mood lighting to suit the occasion.
For the new Function Room our brief was to provide an industrial look. The room is used for a variety of functions from weddings and anniversaries to beer festivals and live music shows. The solution we provided here was for 65 Watt High Bay industrial lamps fitted on adjustable chains with dimmable drivers which allows unlimited options in creating the right mood for the right event.
The results:
The annual cost of operating the existing lighting system was £4,971
After the switch to LED the annual cost reduced to £1,019
Annual savings made by switching to LED are £3,952 / 74%
Total savings over the lifetime of the LED will be £111,798
Annual Carbon Savings 249 Tonnes
